Intimate Landscapes There were so many varieties of coneflower at the greenhouse today. Perfect harmony. One of several of these gorgeous Coneflowers raising their heads to sun. I don’t know the name of this flower, but I enjoyed its sunny outlook on life. Something to brighten an otherwise dreary and overcast day in my part of the world. This one daisy seems to stand out from all the rest. Like little fingers reaching out excitedly towards the light. They were just a clump of humble dandilions, but then the sun broke through. Nothing cheers the heart like a riot of delightful daisies. Even the seed heads of the Globe Thistle are visually interesting. Summer sunlight warm and bright fills the air with glorious light. I wonder, did anyone tell these beauties that fall was here? Dancing with delight. Swaying on the breeze. Drenched in summer’s light. Excitement, sure to please. Shot with the Lensbaby Sweet 50. It’s raining here today and a bit gloomy, but this sunny bloom cheers my day. I really need to add these lovely flowers to my own garden. I love their sunny optimism. Dancing to its own music. Seems like this cone flower dreams of being big one day. I love all the different forms of these cone flowers. The twirling skirts of a dancer. Now isn’t that a nicer sounding name than wild carrot? 😉 This trio sings a perfect tune. I’m just glad he paused long enough for me to make an image! Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy.
